International Business Development Manager
- Degree: Higher education.
- Experience: First successful international sales experience, preferably to distributors.
- Language skills required: Writes and speaks Spanish and English fluently. Other languages are a plus.
Job description
- Your portfolio includes the Latem (Latin American) countries, New Zealand and Australia, and you will be responsible for the commercial activities of these regions.
- You are in charge of the relationship with existing distributors, you evaluate the cooperation, conduct negotiations to expand the business and arrive at strategic partnerships. You support the distributors' sales teams, both in terms of product knowledge and marketing campaigns. You motivate them and set up incentive plans.
- Together with the marketing department, you draw up an ambitious and realistic budget and marketing plan and ensure thorough implementation and follow-up.
- You also prospect specifically within retail, wholesale and cooperatives to tap new markets and generate new turnover. You have contacts with purchasing, shop managers within retail and with industrial end-users and know how to influence and convince the various parties in the purchasing chain.
- As an inspiring colleague, you form a tandem with Internal Sales and develop commercial actions together.
- As a true Bekina Boots ambassador, you actively work on increasing brand awareness through trade fairs and the like. You analyse market trends and report back internally.
- You report to the Sales Director Bekina Boots.
What we expect from you
- You enjoyed a higher education and couple this with a first successful international sales experience, preferably towards distributors.
- More important than your education, however, is your personality, characterised by perseverance, entrepreneurship, eagerness to learn and action orientation.
- You know how to combine rational insights with emotional selling: you like building long-term relationships with your customers and have the interest to familiarise yourself with the personal protective equipment market.
- You have strong verbal and social skills that allow you to negotiate at various levels. Your commercial persuasiveness, coupled with your analytical and organisational skills, are your guarantee of success in this position.
- You are a team player and work smoothly with your colleagues in the back office.
- You are willing to travel 60% of the time.
- You speak and write Spanish and English fluently. Other languages are a plus.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office and experience with an ERP package and CRM is definitely a plus.
