Machine operator
- Degree: Not required
- Experience: Experience in a similar production environment is an important asset
- Required languages: Good knowledge of Dutch or willingness to learn this language, knowledge of English or French is a plus
Job description
Making boots
- You will make safety boots on a machine, together with a colleague.
- You apply the parts (steel top, stocking, steel sole) to the mould. The plastic is injected automatically. You take the produced boot away from the machine.
- You clean the machine so that it is ready to produce the next boot. When the boot comes out of the machine, it still contains residue. After specific training, you can work on 2 other machines for trimming off large residues: removing fine residues at the seam.
Quality control
- Bekina Boots markets many different types of boots, each with different characteristics and quality requirements. You check each boot very carefully and determine whether the quality is right.

- Experience in a similar production environment is an important asset
- Important are your willingness to learn and to work in a very quality-oriented way.
- You enjoy working closely with your colleague and spontaneously jump in whenever he or she needs help. Together, you succeed in achieving the production figures.
- You are proud of your work and you dedicate yourself every day to making top products for our customers.
- You have your own transport.
- Language skills: good knowledge of Dutch is a plus. If you are foreign-speaking, you are willing to learn Dutch. If you have some knowledge of English or French, that will be very useful when communicating with non-native colleagues.
